I graduated Melrose Beauty Academy in 1984. I've worked at Barron's Boston on Newbury St., Hairmates in Stoneham and Villa Novia Woburn before settling in at Sharper Image Hair Design my home since 1991. Through the years, I've attended many hands on education classes, hair shows and seminars. I've taken Aquage classes in long hair styling, bridal, prom styling, kinetic razor cutting and pure forms. I've also attended "The art of success" hands-on cutting, coloring and foiling techniques classes from Matrix, Logics, Biolage and Paul Mitchell. As well as Eric Fisher's seminar on the art of communication. I am certified in Keratin treatment and I've also taken the advanced color classes at Coastline Beauty. What I love most about being a hairstylist is that I can use my creativity to create art on hair. I find this profession to be very rewarding because its all about pleasing my clients.
Owner/Hairstylist
Jeannine is the owner and operator of Sharper Image Hair design in Burlington, MA. Since its opening in 1988, Jeanine has established a salon that cares to the needs of the neighborhood by providing quality, yet affordable services. She prides herself in keeping up with the changing times and is dedicated to ensuring her salon is current, as shown by an emphasis on continuing education and constant upgrades to the salon. She travels the distance to NY and FL hair shows, among others, to see the latest styles and trends in hair and products that hit the runway. Jeanine believes the key to a good stylist requires getting to know and understand the client in order to create a style that maximizes their beauty. Jeannine has also attended the Paul Digriglio schoold for Advanced Cutting. Her education also includes Aquage Kinetic Razor Cutting, Aquage Pure Free Forms, Advanced Color Certificate from Coastline Enterprises, Matrix Global Academy NY, Certified Global Keratin Hair Restructuring, many hands on from Matrix, Aquage, Logic, and Art of Communication Eric Fisher.
Hairstylist
Julie graduated from the Learning Institute for Beauty Science in 2004 and has since been working at Sharper Image Hair Design. Her education includes Aquage Long Hairstyling, Aquage Kinetic Razor Cutting, Aquage Pure Free Forms, Advanced Color Certificate from Coastline Enterprises, Matrix Global Academy NY, Certified Global Keratin Hair Restructuring, many hands on from Matrix, Aquage, Logic, and Art of Communication Eric Fisher. Her Favorites are Foils and Formal hairstyling. She loves funky hair block colors and crazy colors.
Stylist
Francine graduated from Wilfred Hair Academy in 1987. She joined Sharper Image Hair Design in 1991. Her education includes certification in Global Keratin Hair restructuring, along with many hands on color and cutting classes. Francine prides herself on her work and her relationship with her clients. She listens to her clients' needs, and will work with them to ensure that they are happy when they leave her chair.
